presintation pt2

The presentation I felt went really well, except the people we were presenting to gave more criticism than praise. They gave good advise but said it in a way that sounded like they where more disappointed in our game then they where impressed. However except for a new need for a lot of code our game should be completed before the school year ends.

We are about to present our final game to the people, I'm personally a little nervous there is still a lot we didn't get done, but we have enouph to show the judges. We are actually presinting from another class but it shouldn't take more than 30mins an hour at the most.

I thought it would work

1120: Access of undefined property onEnterFrame. This is an error that occurred while trying to use the code Mr Allder gave us. I'm not sure what it is or how to fix it, if anyone dose know please post it in the comment section below. The fla and swf is on in the team page.

one down

Mr. Allder came down to our class today to offer some codding advice, and he managed to answer my drag and stick question. He gave us a code that would make one version of the symbol drag and drop, but after it dropped it  would disappear and another version of the symbol would pop into place, but this one can't move.

Coding problems

No matter how easy you think something will be its always more complicated. The small amount of coding i need, i cant get of find. maybe someone can help, i need a way for a movie clip to appear if a button is pressed and also i need that movie clip to be drag able but once it is dropped in a certain place it can not be picked back up again. If you know any thing please post it in the comments section. Thanks.

Game time

The time has come at last, time to start making the final copy of our game. We still have a lot of coding that needs done, and some of  the scenes need to be edited a little. We have about six days or so, with a little hard work(and tons of luck) this deadline will be no problem.
