game idea found

We've decided on making our game about the energy crisis. We found this site that has all these numbers about every thing including the amount of animals we slaughter every day. Also it's estimated that there will be no more oil left to pump in about 40 years, that my seem like a long time but to the next generation it could mean no more gas or fifty bucks a gallon. We finally thought of a name for our team, it's geburtstag which is German for birthday. We really needed a name and it was the first random German word that popped in his head. Oh i don't think I told you my partner is George and we are doing a game about... something. OK so we don't know our game yet but we'll get there. Now look at the German birthday cake.

PAPER PROTOTYPE... NOOOOO

I looked on Mme. Daigle's timeline for globaloria and saw that the paper prototypes are coming. Last year I really despised those things I don't want to do it again. Even If where not doing them this month their still going to have to be done and I can't stand them. But first we have to finish choosing a topic and the mini game project. Until then I will still be dreading doing those things.

Decisions, decisions

The time to start making the games is approaching and I only have a small idea of what my game is going to be. All I know is it will be something about a world event, only problem is I don't know what event to do. I'm hoping that some amazing or big event happens some so that we have something good to make a game out of. Until them We'll have to keep researching the topic until we find something good.

I like games

We played several game genres and I believe that i want to make a platforming/ adventure game. I like platforms because of the timing and quick thinking needed to proceed through the levels. I also like adventure games because of the depth you can feel while playing. I still don't know what my game will be about but i have some ideas to and when we finally get to flash I'll start working on them. Until then I'll keep doing what I have to do.

Internet Safety and You.

(This blog is to be read in the style of 1950's safety ads. And please read as such) The Internet can be a great source of both entertainment and information. However if you are not careful you may accidentally GIVE AWAY PERSONAL INFORMATION. You may be asking why do I want to be safe on the Internet. That's not cool. Well, let me tell you something daddy-o. Every ten seconds someone's identity is stolen, that means that someone else can use their name to do anything like buy a car or house. You may think that's not a big deal but what if it was your parent's identity that was stolen. Your family could be in dept for the rest of their natural born life and that's not good, isn't it? So be smart, protect yourself on the Internet and you won't be sharing a box with some big rats, really big rats like the one above so keep your family safe.

It's all coming back to me

I'm starting to remember how slow this class starts and the constant blogging and playing to learn. I wish we could get started with our games already even though I have no idea of what I'm going to do for a game. I'm thinking about a side scroller, like the castlevania games. I can't wait to get started with the assignment and make another game.

Here we go again

Here we are back were it all began, another year of globaloria and another year of being rushed to finish all the projects while fighting flash every step of the way. But I would like to say bring it on now that I know more tricks to get things done faster this year should be a breeze. Yes I have a very positive attitude and I don't know why, but this is my first blog so might as well start the year off right.
